The Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Low Smoke Zero Halogen Flame Retardant Cables for Nuclear Power Plants is the only engineering research and development platform for low smoke zero halogen flame retardant cables for nuclear power plants in our province. The competent department of the Engineering Technology Research Center is the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the supporting unit is Changzhou Bayi Cable Co., Ltd. The Engineering Technology Research Center has a Management Committee, a Technical Committee, and an Engineering Center, with an "Engineering Management Department, Laboratory, and Design Room" located within the Engineering Center, responsible for daily operations, product research and development, design, and promotion applications.

The Engineering Technology Research Center implements the guiding principle of "independent innovation and key breakthroughs", and undertakes the major research and development tasks of engineering common key technologies for low smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cables used in nuclear power plants. It is committed to the research and development of high-tech engineering, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and the maturity of engineering technology. Strive to become a specialized gathering place for engineering technology, a radiation source for scientific and technological achievements, and a center for cultivating enterprise oriented scientific and technological talents, continuously producing common and key technologies with independent intellectual property rights, and tirelessly improving the technical level of nuclear grade cable engineering.

The Engineering Technology Research Center will focus on the development goal of "safe and efficient" nuclear power industry, and always lead research and development with the trend of international cable industry. Mainly for new materials for nuclear grade cables, key processing technologies, standardized production and quality and safety control technologies, industrial supporting of scientific and technological achievements, engineering and technical consulting services, international cooperation and new technology introduction, talent cultivation and information services, etc.

The Engineering Technology Research Center is currently responsible for the research and development of a new generation of low smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cables for nuclear power plants. It has multiple invention patents and utility model patents, and is providing a large number of high-quality nuclear grade instrumentation and control cables and special cables for domestic and foreign nuclear power plants. And we are actively introducing advanced engineering technology from abroad to provide comprehensive open services for the industry.
